Acceptance of Terms
By using CalendarHelper (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users of the bot regardless of how they access it.
Description of Service
CalendarHelper is a Telegram bot that allows you to create and manage Google Calendar events by sending natural language messages. The Service requires you to authenticate with a Google account via OAuth.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to agree to these terms.
Your Account & Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Telegram account and Google account
- You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes
- You must not use the Service to create, store, or distribute illegal, harmful, or abusive content
- You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, abuse, or interfere with the Service
Google Account Access
By connecting your Google account, you authorize CalendarHelper to access your Google Calendar on your behalf as described in our Privacy Policy. You can revoke this access at any time via your Google Account permissions. Revoking access will disable the Service for your account.
Intellectual Property
CalendarHelper and its underlying software, design, and content are owned by Lev Shamin. Nothing in these terms grants you ownership of any part of the Service. You retain full ownership of the calendar data and content you create.
Availability & Modifications
We provide the Service on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We reserve the right to:
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with or without notice
- Change features or functionality
- Impose usage limits
We are not liable for any interruption or discontinuation of the Service.
Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- Calendar events will be created accurately in all cases
- The Service will meet your specific requirements
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Lev Shamin shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to missed appointments, data loss, or calendar errors.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, including violation of these terms. You may stop using the Service at any time by revoking Google OAuth access and discontinuing use of the bot.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia and the applicable laws of the European Union, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Tallinn, Estonia.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
