What Data We Collect
When you use CalendarHelper, we may collect and store the following:
- Telegram user ID — to identify your account and link it to your Google authorization
- Google OAuth token — to make authorized requests to Google Calendar on your behalf
- Google account email address — obtained during the OAuth flow to associate your Google account
- Calendar event data — the natural language messages you send us and the resulting event details created in your calendar
- Usage data — timestamps and request logs for debugging and service improvement
We do not collect your Telegram messages beyond what is necessary to process your calendar requests.
How We Use Your Data
We use collected data solely to:
- Authenticate you with Google and maintain your session
- Create, update, or manage Google Calendar events on your behalf
- Maintain and improve the reliability of the service
- Respond to support requests
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Google OAuth & Calendar Access
CalendarHelper uses Google OAuth 2.0 to request access to your Google Calendar. We request the following scope:
- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events — to create and manage calendar events
Your Google token is stored securely and used exclusively to perform actions you explicitly request via the bot. You can revoke access at any time via your Google Account permissions.
Our use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on servers located in the European Union. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure.
Data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days.
Your Rights (GDPR)
As a user, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Erase your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restrict or object to processing
- Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing

CalendarHelper is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of the page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
